Default Parts look-up

Is it me or has website at Cub Cadet Parts & Service Look-up link in the header above has changed? No more exploded views and corresponding parts list?

YUP, MTD was bought by Stanley/Black & Decker. The newer bigger company has so many more resources, and will make your life easier, that their Geniuses just had to improve the site to better serve you. Happened this week.

Hang on folks, this is going to be a Three Ring Circus for a quite some time, while another Genius figures it out.

Click on the Cub Cadet box in the center of the screen and it will bring up a page to put your model number in. A little different after that than it use to be but manageable.

You must be using a different link than what's provided at the header (sub-header??) of this forum. I found this link you may be referring to: https://www.cubcadet.com/en_US/ari-partstream.html
This is just fine! I guess the administrator has a little bit of a PIA work to do!

If using the parts banner on the home page. Click on service and parts on the right in the black banner and then select "Lookup Parts by Diagram" and you'll get to the same page.

I have made a change in the Parts & Service link at the top of the page. The new link seems to be more user friendly.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
