Default #500

This 127 followed me home today, local pickup. I do believe it is my #500th but does it matter?
It does not run, but did when parked, but came with a nice 38c deck, ag tires off a Wheel Horse and wheels weights.
Pictures for your consumption.

Nice goin' Uncle Lewy!! You d' Cub Cadet King after having owned that many. I like the seat mount on that 127. Don't know what it is off of, but looks versatile for many different seat configurations. Should be an easy one to flip quickly.

Just curious, because you are too far away for me to infringe on your zone, do you find most of your cubs within a 75 mile radius of Casa del Lewy?

Figuring on average of 650 lbs per tractor, that's about 325,000 lbs....

Then there's wheel weights, implements......

In the old days, when your were a child, I would drive 3 or 4 hours one way with you in the back seat of the truck, now you do not fit anymore...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
