Default Draw Bar

Been reading the book "50 Years of Cub Cadets". When the Author is listing all the features, every tractor he mentions a draw bar. I should know what a draw bar is but evidently I don't, so would some one please enlighten me. Thanks and have a great day.
Merry Christmas and a happy New Year
Bob

A drawbar is something like this:
https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/pr...y-1-3-4-in-dia

This is not the right one. It attaches to the two arms of your three point hitch.

Extreme Motorsports might have the right one for you. Scroll down the page and you'll see the drawbar: https://www.xtrememotorworks.com/Par...Cub-Cadet.html

In the Cub Cadet world, these are the "drawbars". The top image was used from the Original to the middle of the 82 Series. The bottom was used on the Aluminum Rear Ends from s/n: 720,000 and upward.

My bad! Thanks for clearing that up, Roland. I learned something today.

Not to worry. Cub Cadet calls them a "draw bar". I call them a "hitch". Terminology can be confusing at times.

Default Draw Bar

Thank you Roland for the info. I had no idea what that piece was called. Learned something new today. Now if I can remember it tomorrow. Have a great day and a very Merry Christmas.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
