Am afraid to use the term sleeve hitch and 3 point but anyway is another story...
I just lucked up and found a complete set up off of a 1200 minus the "sleeve Hitch adapter" term used loosely.... for $50 if I remove it myself plus the attachment lift spring. I have never seen one so I was wondering what specific tools to take and are there any little mounts I need to make sure I get? I do have an electric impact I am taking along to help with the removal. Thanks for any and all input. DWayne ![]()

There not hard to remove as long as the pin that holds the sleeve on is not rusted. Usally just remove one tire and pull the pin so youll need a jack, if its stuck youll have to remove both tires and drive it out with another pin. The rest is just wrenches and ratchets.
You stole it for $50!

Don't forget to get the pin plate that's on the rockshaft.

JB 80 makes removing anything on cubs easier. Also don't forget the bottom plate on the bottom of the rear end

When i bought mine, i had to take it off as well. $35 for the lift and hitch. I had to remove both tires, soak it with PB and heat it with a small propane torch. Then a really big hammer and punch. All the sweat and blood was worth it.

Went and picked up the lift attachment 3 point and the lift assist spring assembly. I also walked away with two excellent condition rear rims and 23x10.50 turf tires. The 3 point came off of a 1200 and had the (Frankenstein?) bolts to hold the lift casting onto the frame. It looks like I will have to buy the rod that the 128 uses to mount the lift casting. I considered knocking out the spacers but decided I didn't want to do that. Short of that I am also going to order the outer two point bracket to work with the inner two point I got with the setup. The Spring bolt works great for tension adjustment, not rusted and stuck like a lot seem to be. Now to save up for the Sleeve hitch adapter and linkage. Oh, not too bad for $50 and a little elbow grease.

You don't need to buy that rod...it's just a piece of cold-rolled steel with two holes drilled in it.

After I saw the pictures of it from one of the sponsors, I figured I would go across the road to the local machine shop and pick up a length of correct sized round stock and drill a couple of holes. Thanks for the heads up Matt.
