does anybody have a complete list of accessories that would have been available for a 1965 cub cadet 71? pdf format or even decent pictures would work for me. thank you for any info.
I looked through the technical library but unless I'm overlooking it I don't see anything like what I want.

Brochures and options are NOT in the Tech Library.
I probably have what you are looking for, in my archives. I'll do some looking.

Here are a couple of brochures that have attachments for narrow frames. They are mostly attachments offered by other manufacturers for use with Cub Cadets.
IH Cub Cadet 60 work attachments Special Duty Equipment for IH Cub Cadets The scanned PDF files are pretty big.

If it is IH options and IH supplied attachments, you can find all that in the parts manuals that are on line. While that is not probably the format you are looking for, it is at least a start.
PartsTree - Cub Cadet 71 It does not really distinguish between standard and options, but it is all list there.

The mounted "scoop" and tow behind scraper were rather interesting. That stuff gives full size tractors a run for the money!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
