Default Doing something I've never done

I've never sold a cub cadet before, I'm a buyer.
Sold my 2082 today. It was kinda hard to see it go down the road.
So to make up for it I bought another 2182.
Was nothing wrong with the 20, but I've fallen in love with those kubota gassers.
The 2182 needs a little lovin, it's just how I like them.
It runs and drives fine, just the usual leak and seal issues. I will drive it around this summer and fix it up this winter. Pics so it happened:

I know what you mean on selling a tractor. But hey, you can't keep them all, are can you

Congrats on the 2182, Terry!

I know the feeling Terry, never sold one thing for years. First time was kinda hard. I recognize the red machine in the foreground.

Congrats on the non-smoker

Left just enough in that pic to see if you would notice.

I have only ever "sold" two. Gave them both to my bro's.
I get what you are going through.

Terry, did you end up with Trent's 9? Or does your buddy still have it?

It's my buddies, he has the market cornered on 982s
Trents still has the mystery frame.

My 21 came from quite aways away. Dealer sticker from OH still on it.

Comgrats on the new toy. I understand as well about hating to let something go. We've got 2 or 3 Cadets that are not worth much money and we don't use them, but I still can't bring myself to sell them. We've kind of hit Cadet overload, don't think we have used the 128 once all year. To me that is one of the most classic Cadets ever built. I really need to get it serviced and chop some grass.

Congratulations on the 2182! Where the heck did you find that 2182, around here? I pride myself in picking up every one that comes up for sale owning 8 of them now, along with a 1782, 2072 and 1572. Just sold my 1772 to a member here. Had a hard time letting it go, but it went to a good home. Thinking of painting the 1572 red and calling it a 982D after seeing some at Red Power Round UP. That's if someone does not come along and buy it from me first

The 982 got a Onan 19.9hp gas engine, you can find a 15hp Kubota diesel engine in a 782D, a 882 or a 1572 like yours, the 17hp Kubota diesel is what CC may have used in a 982 if they have done a red diesel version of the 1772 so if you paint your 1572 red, stick 882 on the side to make it a credible mod.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
