1641 Mower Deck Adjustment
I have my deck on the lowest setting possible but the grass is still in the 4" tall range.....much higher than I want. (It looks like it is dragging the ground in the pics but its not close).
Can someone confirm I have the wheel adjustments at the lowest setting and is there another adjustment I am missing that allows the mower deck to be lowered further? I have the 317 mower manual and this adjustment is all that is referenced.

Look on the plate that goes between the rear wheels. There's a rod that sticks out and a decal that I believe says "raise/lower". Turn it to suit you.
On your deck, you have the front wheels raised all the way and your rears are dropped down all the way. You need to change that.

Besides what Mike said take a look at the deck stop rod at the back of the tractor. The thing in the blue circle.

Blades
Thank you on the counterclockwise turning advice and yes I feel pretty good that blades are installed correctly.... it actually cuts great, just cuts everything 4" high.
