Default 1/4 - 20 x 1/2 Cone tip Set Screw - Alternate sources
I picked up a helicoil kit this morning.. they are VERY proud of that kit.. $30 at Napa...

I ordered 1 replacement 1/4 - 20 x 1/2 cone tip set screw with my PTO rebuild kit, but had to drill another out... I was wondering if anyone knew if those might be available at any big-box hardware(ish) type stores or Napa, Autozone, O'Riley, Advance Auto Parts etc?

Rigid 00-RB bolt threading dies use the same screw to adjust the die in the holder. If you have a very large ridgid dealer nearby, Most dont carry the bolt dies. I made some from the hillman drawers at the hardware store. I just bought them long and ground a cone on them. Havent had to take a PTO apart yet.

hmmm.. .that's an interesting idea.. I do have a 1/4 -20 x 1/2 flat set screw... I guess I can fire up the dremel tool.. hadn't even considered that...
