Default 1450ds junkyard dog

I did a little horse trading today and came home with this piece of junk, what the h3ll was I thinking? I have a few different ideas bouncing around in my head about how I want to build it, it definitely won't be stock when I'm done. I'm sure the purists will want me to restore it to original but I figure it was in a junkyard before I got it so I can do whatever I want with it and not feel bad.

They all need saving Tim, no matter how roached. And with that option it's a no brainer.

Your picture reminds me of an idea we had in a jeep club I used to be in. We came up with an idea to build a "club jeep" that we built all from spare parts that someone/friends who didn't have a jeep could wheel or we could have it as a spare if someone's was down and we were going on a trail ride. It was half there when we got it and everyone donated parts and time and the mechanics in our group put it together. Pretty fun to get ideas and put it together on a bare bones budget and see the end result.

I'm sure you will make it sweet. Any cats that you would like to let out of the bag?

Not bad, I'd have to guess you were interested in that dual spool valve, and twin stick. I would have got that carcass too!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
