Default Cyclops near me

Here's a 2182 that is for sale near me. Perhaps some of the cyclops experts such a Sam could review and make comment on value. The mechanical repairs are no problem for me.

I am no expert but that looks like a decent deal to me. Plastic looks good if the hood is not pressed down.

I don't know how many hours on it nor do I know how many hours the Kubota gas engines are good for.

I see the owner has cut a hole to get at the dipstick. Maybe that's a good thing, he probably checked the oil and maybe did some maintenance on it. Also it doesn't have a Haban hanging under it so hopefully the rear end isn't all busted up. Leaking seals on the rear are pretty much standard at this vintage. Pull the rear, pop the tubes off, drill the drain holes, new seals and a set of rear end braces and it should be good for many more years as long as it's under 1000 hours. Over that try for a lower price.

So to answer your question if that was close to me it would be on my trailer.

Let me know if you get it.

Been through Horse Heads many times on the way to Watkins.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
