Default Changed Plans

Guys, this thread goes with my thread in the prayer room. Due to unforeseen circumstances, getting the JD didn't work out. Jenn and I had some stuff come up, that we weren't expecting. I'll be in the market for a nice single cylinder cub, as soon as things are taken care of. It's tough being without a tractor.

No problem Allen. There are more important things in life than these little toys we have. Hang in there buddy, I'm sure something will come your way...and hopefully before the leaves start falling.

D.C. al Coda? Might I suggest a 100 for you Allen?

There are lots of nice ones out there still. Are you looking for something in your area or are you willing to travel/ship? Just let us know and we will become "Cub Scouts"!!

AC

Don't sweat it about having to back out of the JD deal. If you want a single Cub after you get sorted out I have that Red 71 that I put a Mag 12 in.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
