Default 1914 pto
My friend has a 1914 Cub Cadet. It has 3 pt hitch but no pto. Pto shield is there. Is pto an optional? I am familiar with 82 series but still learning on newer models.

Then it will be, what will you do with one?

Unless you have 2000 RPM reverse rotation attachments, they aren't worth much. They made them..... you think the PTO is expensive!

Thanks for the replies. I will see my friend this weekend. He is going to sell 1914. I bought 60 inch Haban mower from him for my 982 and maybe 1914.

I though a 1914 came stock with rear pto and a 1912 didn't .

They didn't actually badge any tractor a 1914. Just 1912. 1914 was the model designation for the rear PTO option. Soooo.... apparently it is a 1912.

What makes you think it's a 1914? Have you seen the model tag or something? Because Jason is correct, it's a 1912 without the rear PTO.

Cub parts site shows the rear PTO kit as being an option for the 1914.

I didn't check the model tag. The owner said it is 1914. How can I tell if it is 1912 or 1914. I will see him and may buy it from him.
Appreciated for your help.

I have Cadet 182, 682, and 982. All red. 1914 may be my first yellow/white.

I have 2 1912s they both didn't have rear PTO when I got them but had dual valves. My 1914 has dual valve ;3 point and rear PTO.
