Wink Paint scheme

I need some advice. I am working on cleaning up parts of a Cub Cadet 102 & need am not sure what for paint I should use. (Brand & color numbers) Any help is appreciated.

Are you wanting to shine it up for shows and parades or just make it look better and use it as a worker?

For a worker, rustoleum marigold is very close to the yellow and can't remember the color of white off the top of my head. You could power wash, degrease and scuff the tractor and just use the rattle cans. For a worker, it looks lots better and will help keep it rust free.

For shows and such, I would recommend use a hardened enamel and take it apart to paint things.

If you go the enamel route, buy more paint than you need, if you go back to get more, if can be a little off in color.

I like the Valspar equipment enamel for my workers.. The IH white and Cub Cadet yellow works out really nice..

The Case IH irongard enamel sold at the IH ag dealers is good to use also..( I think Valspar makes it)

For a show tractor, I would use an automotive paint with hardener... cost more but you will get better longer lasting results.

Dupicolor School bus yellow, AKA Federal Yellow, Is almost a dead nuts match for the Cub Cadet yellow. I get it at Car Quest.

I had the frame and grill for the 126 I'm restoring sandblasted, primed and sprayed w/IH Iron Guard and I'm doing all the small parts w/rattle cans of the Duplicolor. Tiny shade difference is all, can barely make it out.

Thank You so much guys, this is helpful. I have the tractor completely taken apart with the exception of the transmission and am working on sand blasting right now. Complete rebuilt on the engine. I hope I can get everything back together as this is my very first time ever to take on a project like this. I may use it for light duty work but for the most part I want to keep it looking new. When I get thru I hope to post some pics.
