Default New 100

Picked up this old girl the other day. Got the Lew price on it. It's got fenders, 3 point with spring assist and weights not shown. The backs of each fender are a little crinkled but nothing a hammer and dolly can't cure. Seat has had some weld repairs in the past as well. It's a 1 owner machine and the elderly gentleman I got it from seems to think he might still have the original paperwork that came with it when purchased new.

Thanks Guys. I could have got it for $75 but the guy was telling me he paid that much for the rear tire and to have it mounted the year before. Flipped him a benny and loaded it and brought it home.

WOW, only you would have that luck Kelly, if it was me, the owner would be like $450 firm, I think you got it cheaper than a LP price.

THX Nick. The same guy has a Wheel Horse 414-8 that I might be getting my hands on as well. The carb is toast but just so happens I have about 8 of the 30 carbs. Guy up the road from him has been gonna buy it but keeps dragging his feet. I told the owner I would come back in a month with cash in hand if it hasn't sold buy then he will sell it to me.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
