Right now it's about 75° and mostly sunny out with a slight breeze; absolutely beautiful. And I'm stuck at work
Lawns haven't been cut (the ones I worry about, anyway) in about two weeks or so, needless to say it's almost like a hayfield out there. The weather is teasing me "Come get your Cub and mow me, I dare ya! Chicken!". I can barely take it! I'm off work in a little under two hours and plan on making up for some lost grass cutting tonight with a vengeance! Perfect weather, cold beer, a Cub ready to mow, and a grill waiting for me afterwards; what could be a better way to spend a Friday evening? Oh, and the cherry on top is it's pay day as well! So, what is the Cubbing community up to today? Out enjoying the weather, I assume! Enjoy the day guys, and be safe!

Strange summer here this year. There are days you can run the A/C and the next day you can run the furnace. Lot's of rain here in the last two weeks. It has been a struggle to mow the lawn between rains. 66° here today and yes, one could turn the furnace on. Seems like a sin to turn the heat on in June...

Been getting lots of rain lately, got a new pool and have hardly been able to enjoy it. My yard needs mowed which hopefully I can get done after work.

Sounds like I'm not the only one with the mowin blues brought on by a case of the heavy rain. Guess well see if mother nature can hold off the rain long enough for me to catch up on grass killing!
Another casualty of all the rain is the weeds in the garden. Holy cow, I've never seem 'em sprout up like they are this year!! It's either too rainy/muddy to try and weed, too hot, or no time. Guess I'll have to pick away at that this weekend if I can.

Absolutely beautiful here, dry, 72 degrees, nice breeze off of Buzzards Bay, looking out over the Elizabeth Islands. Too dry though, this is my first year in 25 not making hay and glad for it, the grass is just not growing, so no Cub time. But good weather for this.... spent the week dismantling and crating this 1930's telescope, and for you Illinois boys yes that is a silo top converted for use as the top of the observatory.

Hot, Humid, Hot, Humid did I mention Hot and Humid? After last winter I'm all good with Hot + Humid. Get hot and sweaty, jump in the pool then repeat. Happy, Happy, Happy. You'll never hear me complain about it being hot.

Today was the perfect day. Woke to high 50's, then by noon mid 70's and right now 7:26 pm 70*
But we also have been getting enough rain through out. First year we haven't had to water the garden yet, ole Mother Nature has been taking care of that. But here in WI the weather can change pretty fast..... But I'm with Sam. No complaints on it being to hot I'll take that over winter anytime

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
