Default Got another O today

Just picked up this 1962 original today, a friend told me about it, so I went to see it and made a deal. All I have to do is now his yard for the summer and with his mower. He brought it over and I got it running pretty quick, just had to swap the s/g because the front bearing siezed and clean carb and tank. Put a battery in and start it up. It runs great. It's also got quite a few original parts like the copper fuel line, IH logo, and air cleaner, also has the fenders and creeper. The tires also look new to me. Pressure washed it and it looks great.
I do have the lift for it.

Looks like a tough little guy! Those rear ags and the creepy gear sweeten the deal.

Those tires are my favorite item. They are Sweet! The right axle seal is leaking pretty bad so I have to put a new one in tomorrow. I have a deck for it I'm going to put on, I have all the parts for it.

Is the muffler on it from an 86?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
