Default Quietline 1000 wont crank
Well was gonna get the cub out to pull a few things out of the barn and it wouldnt crank not even a click i called my buddy who i got it from he said it happened to him once before and just kind of worked itself out lol im planning on tearing into it deeper tomorrow any common things to look out for??

I'd start with checking it for a dead battery. That's pretty common.

Lol its only a few weeks old but i did check it just to be sure and it was still good and i did notice that the coil was getting warm while i was looking for the obvious stuff loose wiring and such

Once you have confirmed the Battery is good, then two other things to check. (A) The PTO switch has to be in the off position, and (B) the Brake Pedal has to be depressed, before the starter will engage.

My 1450 died a few times over loose/dirty connections at the ammeter, PTO switch and ignition switch.

I tore into it this morning and it was a bad ignition switch. The rivets that hold the terminals on the back, loosened up and if you hold it just right, she fires right up.
