Pull the old engine out give it bath. Put in the better running one

Wow very nice, I'm doing my originals engine right now, is that a nos muffler? Mine is nos on my 86 but it's black. What happened to the old engine?

Needs rebuilt smokes and low compression The muffler was sand blasted and painted
