Default Rockshaft Removal on 1872
Got the roll pins out but the inner shaft is frozen in place. Anyone have any ticks to getting it out? I've tried the BFH method with no luck.

Not sure if you have Oxy/Act torch available. If you do heat up the outer piece red hot and quench with water to cool down. The thermal shock usually will loosen up the rust so it can be removed. 90% of the time it works for me. If that fails the cutting tip goes on. If you resort to a BFH use a brass or aluminum drift on the end of the shaft to avoid mushrooming.
