If I went to TSC for belts, I do like the Huskee Kevlar belts, what might I look for:
1) "B" Section x 91.68" Long (This is my PTO drive belt); 2) "A" Section x 107.3" Long (The 48" deck spindle belt). If I were guessing, A is 1/2"? B is 5/8"? (Checked, 1/2" and 5/8" are correct). I do like my tan USMC belt but, use lots of Brasso on the buckle! ![]() The Gates belt website gave me two cross ref'd P/N's. P/N 6757BR and 6781BR. Gates P/N's and NAPA's P/N's the same. Sound right to you Cubbies in the know?

When I buy belts from TSC I just take the old belt with me to match at the store. Then I buy 3, one undersize, one that looks like it will fit and one that looks like it's too long. Go back home put the one on that fits then return the 2 that don't fit. I'm lucky, TSC is only a couple mile away.

I just use P/N's and get sizes. At TSC 'bout a mile from me, I usually pickup two of any belt, one gets installed, one hangs up just in case.
I cut the empty belt sleeve showing belt size and manufacturer and staple gun it on the barn's shop wall. Now if I can only remember where I put that staple gun? ![]()

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
