Default 100 rear end
Hey guys I am redoing my 100 and I was wondering if maybe there is an upgrade for the rear to make it top out at a higher speed ?

I've not heard of one but if you are looking for speed hydros go a little faster than gear drives. Maybe put 123 stickers on it?

Midwest Super Cub makes overdrive gears for the reduction at the front of the trans. I believe they go as high as a 23% overdrive.

They go much higher. 43% is the biggest one they make but it requires some grinding on the reduction housing. 23% is the largest one that you can install without modification.

Cubs are already a little spooky in 3rd if its not perfectly smooth, I couldn't imagine 43% more speed.
