Front tire help
Wanting to put 3 rib tires on my 122 and need to know what size rim I need. Right now the tire on the tractor is 16x6.5-8. What do I need to look for to find the smaller, narrower, rim?

The typical front wheel that is narrower than what you have was the 4.80/4.00 x 8 front. Seen on numerous Cub Tractor models.

I purchased these from Miller. Deestone 4.00-8, tubes, and 8-3.75 wheels. I got them to put on the 782 until I realized it had 1" spindles. Fit the 102 great! Take a file and clean up the inside of the rims real good or your tubes won't last long.

The narrow tri ribs with nothing on the front of the tractor will seem like you are riding/steering on air. I measured a set that wasn't mounted yet and I think the surface area that was in contact with the ground measured 1" x 5/8", but that is going off memory and it sure isn't what it used to be. Of course, you could go with the narrow ags, as well!
