1864 Battery Size
I just brought home a 1864 for my wintertime project. It is in need of a battery and I cannot seem to find what size it takes.
Does anyone know what battery group and size these came with from the OEM? I can't fnd any info on the web or in my downloaded owner/service manuals. It also came with a 389 model 3 point hitch that is missing the center link. Anyone know how long this center link is? I was going to begin the search for a replacement but need the correct length.

I use a small car battery in my cyclops tractor. Matter of fact it was one I took out of my neon. I would just get out a tape and measure the rough opening and buy a battery that will fit the space.

This is what the PO put in my 1864 right before I bought it. It is a group 26R, he also replaced the battery cables. I think he was trying to fix the starter problem that requires adding a relay next to the starter. I still need to do that
