VA newbie
Hello from Eastern Va. New to the Cub world. Just got a 71 model year, 127 in trade for a kayak. It is in really good shape, runs and drives with no noticeable issues. The deck is in good shape all the bearing seem to be tight. I got it from a guy who "upgraded" to a Craftsman. The only issue is the steering is really sloppy almost 1/2 turn before the wheels start to turn. I wish I did not already have two winter projects in the works. I want to mess with this cub so bad. I am just going to change the fluids, grease everything, maybe replace the tie rod ends, and the belts and just play with it. Hoping to gain some knowledge from this site.

First
 Fixing the steering is no big deal, you'll find plenty of advice on how to do it here. I'm down in the SW part of VA moved here from the tax you to death state of CT.
