Wink Cub 149 Redo

Had a tough summer and didn't get much done. Had two Kidney Stone attacks, Cataract surgery and just getting over Prostate surgery. Anyhow got my frame painted, wheels painted and Rim Guard in wheels with big tread. Good Year tires that are on the tractor were already filled with anti freeze. Not nearly as much done as I had liked but maybe get a little done in my junked up garage this winter. I Know, nothing is true with out pictures so I attached a few.

Sounds like you have had it rough from one end to the other.
Hope you are feeling better.
The 149 is looking good.
Keep the pictures coming when ever you get more done.

Looking good Bob are those Carlisle tires in the first picture? I can't quite make it out. What are they called? They look like a decent tire.
Glad your feeling better, now onto the good stuff, cubs

Thanks for all the well wishes. Thanks Tim for the goodies you brought me. Still on the trailer. Just haven't been able to do too much but getting better. Todd the tires are Carlisle for garden tractors or atv, size 8.00x12. Bought them from a place in Summersville, Wv. and had Rim Guard put in them. Each one now weighs 65lb. Was going to put them on my other 149 and use the snowblower that Tim brought to me but don't think I can handle that just yet. The tires on the tractor in the pictures are old Goodyears and were loaded with antifreeze(I believe). They weigh 99lbs each and were like that when I bought the Tractor. Have a great day everyone.

Bob

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
