This is a non running tractor that i'm interested in. Looks to me that it is an 1810 with part of the 3 point hitch. The seller is selling it for his grandma, and said it "does not have the 3 point, but has trailer arms." Looks like the 3 point to me minus the lift arms and top link bracket. Is there anything else this could be. The tractor is pretty cheap and was thinking of getting it just for the 3 point and whatever else I wanted. It has 1800 hrs on it and doesn't run.

Yes it is. Looks like someone removed the lift arms. That's what the PO did to my 1211. Part of it is still there the part that's attached to the top rock shaft arms. Just wondering why it has a 3pt but no hydro lift?? The hydro lift handle is missing. Someone has bolted that on there, never have seen a manual cat0 3pt lift.

The 3 point hitch was offered with the manual lift with a spring assist. I think I'm going to get it. Maybe i'll get lucky and find the arms laying around. Wonder why the top link bracket would be missing.....

I learned something new, didn't know they offered a manual 3 pt like that! I'd buy it good luck on finding the lift arms! If you do I would like to get some measurements from you. I'm gong to make them for my tractor.

Yep, I say a 1210 or a 1810. Aaron should have all that you need to make that complete.

Well, I went and got it. They THOUGHT the motor was locked up, but they said it turned over and sounded like it wanted to start. I asked if I could look for the grill and the 3 point arms and wouldn't you know it.....I found the 3 point lift arms!! Score!! No grill though.

Probably going to adapt the 3 point to my 2072, maybe. Try to get the tractor running and sell it. We'll see. When I saw the 3 point, and the price, I couldn't pass it up.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
