Default Wrong blower?

correct me if i am wrong? but based on these pics of this O i just picked up, i dont believe this is the bb-36 blower? i have been searching for an answer and havent found much. i found a few pictures of O's with blowers on them and this doesnt look the same.
the way the chute direction works seems off. its a belt wrapped around the chute? and thiers a sleeve over the directional handle that turns left and right to engage the tensioner puller on the blower drive belt?
the auger also does not stop spinning. i think the belt has to be adjusted?

I thought it might be an older Sears model.

reference this thread: http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...l+verification

its definately not a wheel horse blower. ive had my share of those. the red under the chute angle is the same red primer as the rear end and gear reduction housing.

with the stamped steel end where the auger bearing is, I would guess it to be 20+ years newer than the O.

looks like you nailed it on the head with that one bill, that picture is spot on! lol. well someone had some good ingenuity to make this work on the tractor that's for sure. i just cant get the auger to stop spinning without taking the belt off!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
