As much fun as living the Cub life is.....it's time to get back to normal life. As some of you may have read I had a kidney transplant 2 months ago to the day. Well today the doc said I can go back to work on "light duty." I'll take it easy at work, but man will it be nice to not be at home all the time. Not to mention making some money. Anyway, thought I'd share what's going on in my life.

Happy return to work... Work is a wonderful thing.
I thought I would retire as soon as I hit 62 but I don't want to. We have short life spans in my family but after spending an entire week at home I couldn't wait to get back to work. I guess it's difficult to break a 42 year routine, at least for me. Maybe I'll think about it in 5 or 6 years. The best part about all this is you've recovered very well!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
