Default 102 what am I missing here

Mod's if this is not in the right forum please feel free to move it.

What am I missing here, or is this person just think the yellow paint is gold:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cub-cadet-an...item46277d3798

I see they appear to be an antique dealer, but I would think they would do a little more research before throwing a price out like that.....

Mine looked to be in similar shape. It didn't have a plow or weights. It did however fire up and drive out of barn. The guy also delivered it. I beleive I paid $350

Your right. It's been advertised on craigslist at that price for a VERY long time. I think they are the only ones who don't know what is worth. Maybe they think if they throw the word vintage into the add enough, some hipster will come along and buy it.

Heck my 1966 122, it came with a CW36 snow thrower, a snow plow, a rototiller and a model #1 trailer, I paid $300 for it and it came with all the owners manuals and paper work since he bought it new. The engine was overhauled in 1999, it was bored 10 over and he bought a new carb at the time of the rebuild.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
