Stupid 1250 question
On the air filter side of the 1250 engine. How many seals are there. I want to change the oil, and any seals that could be leaking once drained.. Oh, there is a leak from something, not sure where. main reason for the question..

If its leaking oil on the carb side of the engine the 2 most likely causes are the cam cover or the breather.

It is kinda smeared if you will, all over the side. it is not puddaling anywhere.
I really cant find a source. Kinda why I am asking. Now I am not really sure what the box 1 oclock to the point box is. but it seems to be heaver around that.

That's the breather right under the carb. The vertical cover is the cam cover. If you have a lot of blow by or those components installed incorrectly (breather) or bad gasket it will leak
