Cub Cadet 149
I looking at buying a 149 hydro on craigslist. It is mostly complete except for the engine and deck. Seller wants $150 for it. I have a perfect running Kohler Magnum 12hp off of a cub cadet 1204 that I could put in it. I mostly want the tractor because it has the hydrostatic transmission and I have a homebuilt front end loader from my 1204 that I could put on it.
I don't know how many hours are on it. The seller said the hydro worked fine. Also it has hydraulic lift. Do you think the $150 is a fair price? Im worried about the hydo since I can't test it before I buy it, what can I look for? Any other advice you can offer? Attached is the only picture I have of it. The picture shows the engine but that is not included.
