Default Wish I could!

Well, turned on the computer this morning and one of the first things in the email was a birthday greeting from this forum. Much appreciated, but as I'm cruising through the posts about clutches, welding cast iron and adjusting carbs, it brought a tear to my eye as I knew I won"t be able to work on any of mine for some time. So instead I thought I'd share a picture of my collection with the group. :biggrin2.gif:

My two originals, 100, 129 are a bit shy and are hibernating waiting for the snow to melt cause lord knows, as much as I'd like to work on them, there is no way I'm gonna shovel all that darn snow to move them out of the shelter and into the shed.

We got the snow, and I use mine for snow removal. I just can't let winter keep me out of the seat I guess.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
