Default Muffler hole
I've got a pencil sized hole on the front of my muffler on my 147 that's causing the bottom of the front of the grille area to turn black. What, if anything, can I put on it to block over said hole?

Mufflers aren't that expensive but I would imagine a 5/16 bolt welded in would work. I did it to a transmission pan on the trail that I poked a hole in. Was meant to be a temporary repair but it's still going strong

Be careful that the heat from that hole doesn't melt your grill.

Sounds like its time for a piece of your preferred beverage can and a big stainless band clamp to hold it in place.

I have a new genuine Nelson muffler that I bought for my 129. The Nelson mufflers generally last twice to three times as long as the off brands. Was gonna put it on my 129 but opted to build one out of stainless steel instead. I would love to sell this Nelson muffler for what I have invested in it. Never installed. PM me if interested.
