Here are some of the Cubs that have come and gone throughout the years. Wish I had each and everyone of them back, but I guess you can't keep them all!
782...3 point lift...this is the one I wish I still had the most. 71 1861...I still have the trailer in the last pic. I made it from a couple of cub front axles. It is very heavy duty. Of course there are more, but these were some of my favorites.

My old 1420. No pics but I wish I had it back so I could take out all my frustrations on it by gently using purcussive pressure with a realy big hammer. The ones I have now I am pleased with.

I wish I still had my 2072 and my last original. Also had a few other color ones I really regret getting rid of

My 154, I just don't have enough lawn to justify it any more.

Wouldn't you have to sell a cub to "wish I still had it?" That doesn't compute!

I wish I still had my 682, but I'm not TOTALLY broke up about it; I hope to have a red 782 one day

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
