Default Looking for correct hitch
I am trying to find either a sleeve hitch or 3 point for my 1862 so I can use a plow and other attachments with it. I was wonder what it would handle and where can I find the pieces.

I would but I don't know which I need or if I can even put 1 on my tractor so I thought I would get advice before I started placing wanted ads. Trying to do my homework first so its done right the first time.

The 1862 never came with sleeve hitch, but Cat 0 3pt was an option.
Are you looking put something specific on the back? I.E. Tiller? Plow? Blade perhaps? You can't go wrong with Cat 0. All sleeve hitch attachments are adaptable to Cat 0. But, not the other way around. You can purchase a new rear hitch here...... extrememotorworks. If you are looking for used, good luck, they sell fast, and usually too high. You might look for a day, or a year to find one.

Aaron builds awesome stuff but IMHO I think $500 is to much for a GT cat 0. Keep an eye out on evilbay or post a want ad here. The last 2 I picked up were around $300 to $350. You may be able to find a complete tractor with one, remove it and sell the tractor. I picked up a nice 1811 with a cat 0 for $300 last year. There was a guy in North Carolina that was making them for around $350 but I can't find his info.
