Default Quietline Motor Mounts

Hi All: Anyone have a quick and easy way to determine condition of motor mounts on 1650 & 1200?

....look at them? you should be able to crawl under the tractor and get a visual of them. If they're smashed, they need replaced. Otherwise, pull the motor.

If they are really bad, you will most likely find the engine rails sitting on the axle cross member!

If they are bad, you will also more than likely be replacing some driveshaft bushings front and rear.

A good indication is if you can just grab the engine and rock it side to side.

Thanks!

Not that this question hasn't been asked 1000000000x times over, but as someone who sells the solid mounts, do you have much feedback from people that don't use them on pullers as far as vibration? Such as vibration compared to previous models or models after? I just spent the day installing new rubbers up front (the "bumpers" as I call them, not the mounts) as well as "tweaking" the mounts and I still get a good amount of vibration. Granted, these aren't actual Cub Cadet mounts, but they are close enough. Just figured the "Quiet"lines would be smoother and quieter, maybe it's just me. I've debated going solid mounts, just hate to spend the money if it's not going to get any better.

I can't compared a rubber mounted engine since I have narrow frames which are all solid mounts.

Everyone who has purchased their solid mounts have been happy but I can assumed they knew what they were getting with the purchase.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
