1650 Question
There is a guy 25 miles from me that has a 1650 roller for sale. Pics look good and everything is supposed to be there other than the engine. He is asking $200 with the headlight kit or he keeps the headlight kit and installs the blank panel for $150. I need another project like I need a hole in the head but I do like the looks of a 1650.
What do you guys think?

That is a good price for a 1650 if you have an engine for it. If its in good condition I would get it. I love the Quietlines.

I was thinking of analogy.... Asking that question on here is like asking a crack addict if they should buy another bag. Not a perfect bag and it's kinda beat up, but some good drugs in there with just a little work....
Of course the other addicts say absolutely, go get it!  So what are you waiting for?

Yeeter I'm waiting because I have ran outa room to hide any new arrivals to the ponderosa. In November one of my coworkers and I bought out a huge lot of NOS mowers, grass trimmers, leaf blowers, chain saws, and parts from a local warehouse and those have filled up all my storage space. I hope to thin that out when the grass starts growing.
I do have a newly rebuilt ,freshly painted and decaled K341 on the bench by my son would kill me if I put his engine in something besides his AC 416. The 1650 is own the Knoxville TN C-list if any of you are interested and it would not bother me a bit if you ended up with it. But you never know I might give in and find some room,lol

After thinking it over I decided not to buy the 1650 and put the money towards the other projects I have on hand. I do like the looks of the 1650 but I want a SGT a smoker,or a couple of models in the AC line so I'm saving for that.Until my wife gets out of school my play money is a little tight

I got a 1650 that is all there and runs good. Needs a little work but not much.
Got it for free.
