I guess I don't understand the complexities of this site when a question that pertains to to particular category gets moved while chit chat does not, same old same old.

How about an example of what you are talking about...

My guess is that he is referring to a post about loaded tires that was in the CCC/MTD area that some one moved to the general area. I am not the one that moved it but it will probably get more views and comments in the general area and it has a redirect so it should not be a problem for anyone to find it.

Yep, you have the ear of the mod's as you can see. Please explain further. And at least from the gist of this post it is in the correct area.

In doing a little research, I draw the conclusion that this complaint is about this post... http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/showthread.php?t=29864

Loaded tires is NOT specific to the CCC/MTD section. It would apply to all Cub Cadets.

The Moderator that moved it, did so, that it would get the greatest exposure and best answers. Thus, the Moderator made the correct and appropriate move.

I realize that I'm not anybody here, but what difference does it make where a thread ends up?

I have a hard time believing that any of the moderators here would move a post or thread with malicious intent.

FWIW, Rolands above link doesn't work for me. It's blue but doesn't have a line under it and it doesn't give me the finger when I "mouse over" it.

My question was left in general as to not draw attention to anyone, but the first 2 pages of the ccc/mtd section contain threads which I don't feel relate to the section. As for the thread about loaded tires being moved, how does that differ from the thread 5 lines down about tires losing air? Please excuse my ignorance. Maybe a note as to why would help the members use this site more effectively. Oh wait, that's a thread for the suggestion box.

Sam

Like I said I didn't move the thread. I do agree with the Mod that moved it. He felt that it would get more attention in the general area. In so doing he was trying to help the OP, that's why we Mods get the big bucks, LMAO.

I fixed Roland's link so it will now give you the "Finger" now that is funny.

Hope everyone is good with this now and let's all move on.

I like how the forum is set up. I've been on other forums where everything is under a "general talk" and often gets lost in the garble of topics. I focus on the IH cub cadets and don't have as much interest in the CCC/MTD cubs so I gravitate towards that (subsection?) If I was trying to get information about an IH cub I wouldn't want it mixed up with the CCC/MTD cubs, and vise versa. I think the mods do a great job on this site and I enjoy how it set up.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
