Run a 14GA wire from the positive battery post to the lighter WITH a 15A inline fuse. The case of the lighter touching the pedestal should provide the ground.

Just did this on my 125. I ran the positive off of the accessory wire from the key switch. If you don't have that use one of the connections on the amp meter. Then I ran the ground to the frame. The dash is fiberglass so you have to run a ground.
Even if you don't smoke it's just cool to have it hooked up.
