Default Picked up a 149

Found this 149 on CL without the hood and front parts. He had a give it away price on it. And it had good parts on it and I didnt think it would prob run . So I thought id part it and make a few bucks. Well , it runs like a top. The hydro lift works , stock tail lights work, trans operats nice and tight. The pto needs fixed is all I see that it needs other then the hood and front end.

Even with some missing parts, nice piece of equipment 4SPEED that looks to be well taken care of. Can't beat "give it away" pricing as well.

If parts exceed what you want to spend, I'm sure a profit in your pocket would still result in a sale.

Nice find

I would fix it up, costs be darned (that seems the way restoring works), but if you part it out give me a shout.. I will line your pockets with some gold ...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
