Default Cub 123 and 127 PTO

I have a 123 and a 127. The the button on the PTO pulley is wore down to just a pin. How hard is this to replace and is this what I need ?

Are you talking about the button on the PTO? Or the button on the lever? How about a pic.

The button you are linking to on ebay is the one that goes on the PTO itself. The button for the lever that actuates against the PTO looks like it's made of a graphite compound and simply presses into the lever. There are metal alternatives being offered by the cottage industry folks these days.

i was referring to the one on the pto pulley its self i know how to replace the one on the lever

I believe You will have to remove the PTO and dis assemble it to replace that part. The flat springs are held in place by special bolts w/nuts and jam nuts on the inside and will require proper adjustment when reassembling.

Would probably be best to recondition the entire clutch at this time for best operation.

And by the looks of it your actuator lever where the button presses in may be roached as well. That's quite a point you got there, good luck and pb blaster is your friend.

Yup you need a new fiber button (that's probably why the other one is pointed.) Looks like a PTO rebuild is in order.

That looks just like the ones on my 122 when I got it.



I rebuilt the PTO and installed a brass button.
