Default Value of 782

My grandma passed and my uncle wants to get rid of it. Comes with cat 0 3 point snow blower snow blade and mowing deck.

Whats the value on that. Its in decent shape. Could use a tune up and a new battery. Been kept in a garage it's whole life and was purchased new by my uncle.

I'll take pics next time I'm there.

I'm getting my grandma's old Jd 300 for free. It has dual hydraulics and is in better shape and come with more attachments. To me that's a no brainer but I am not as brand loyal as most of the members here.

Just a rough idea of what they sell for will be helpful. Or am I getting shut out because of getting a green tractor.

Brand loyalty is CRITICAL at OCC

OOPs, sorry wrong pic!!

No, it is tough to place a value without a pic, to some nice garage kept is really a $300 parts machine

I bought a 108 in 1990 that had never done more than mow the 1/4 acre of the owner, and never had sat outside a night.

I paid $150, and may have paid too much. The guy threw everything in the garage on that machine. The clutch was shot.

OTOH, a cream-puff 782 might be over $1200.

Need pics.

Its not a cream puff. I'll get pics. I was guessing it's worth $500-800 with the attachments and 3point.

He's also got a old Jacobsen I'll snap some pics of.

Where in Illinois are you located? I may be interested in helping you get a few dollars out of it

I am in WI, and interested as well. You should put a for sale post in the for sale section here, you never know it could sell pretty quick.

Looking forward to seeing a photo!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
