Recently I went out and fired up the 125, when I shifted it in gear the shifter leaver wouldn't move. I finally was able to "force" it, and she pulled and drove fine. I just can't get it to shift easily as intended. The last time I used it it was business as usual. Any ideas? What the fix is, why it would just lock up like that?

could be the brake part that centers the hydro held it from moving
when was the last time it was used? I bought a 123 that didn't want to move at first but it finally moved and it was the brake pedal that was kind of holding it |

There is a nut in the dash that controls the tension on how much force is applied on the hydro lever. My initial thought is that some how it got seized up momentarily. I would try hitting it with PB blaster, as well as the linkage points to see if that helps.

I got a chance to check it out today I disengaged the shift rod from the trunion bracket. It moves freely and I cannot move the shift linkage...looks like I'm going to have to tear the tower down to clear up the issues in the the tower... I'm thinking there is quite a bit of rust hanging out in there...
