Default Got great news!!

hey my fellow cub lovers. sorry ive been off alot here lately (working 70hrs or more a week now...and no time for cubs) but a few days ago a buddy sent me a pic of a case mower. i wasnt to interested in it but after he told me $100 gets it i jumped all over it. its a case 224 complete mower. the man parked it and just let it go to waste. i got it home today and cleaned her up. the reason she was parked was cuz the motor started smoking and burning oil...i know it needs rings (still aint started it yet) but im ready to hear her run again. ill get pics of it on here soon. only thing now is need 4 tubes all the tires are shot along with the battery....but for 100 bucks i scored big time. still love my cubs but this was a good deal..saved it from the scrap yard...so anything saved is well worth it now

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
