Default CCC decals and emblems

Does anyone know of a source to get reproduction "CCC" decals? I'm going to eventually be repainting my 1211, and I would like to keep it correct with the CCC decal on the rear fender. I'm also having a hard time finding a CCC emblem for the grill. I've been searching e-bay for one for quite some time, and never see any pop up. I've also checked our sponsors with with not so good results.

Thanks,

Jeff (teet)

Duke,

I browsed their site, but I'm thinking I might contact them. They have complete sets listed for some of the CCC tractors, but no pictures.

Thanks for the tip!

You can still get it straight from CC too... 759-3319

Go to the parts section, 1211 for the model and it's listed under "hood and grille"

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

FYI, a 1210 should not have either the CCC emblem in the dash or the decal on the fenders if the decals are the 1811 style.

Matt, Its a 1211 if that makes any difference..probably not. So are you saying that it didn't come with a grill emblem from the factory? It sort of looks like there are some larger holes in the grill mesh between the headlights leading me to believe the PO had something there? Hmmmmm..interesting. I've seen some other models with a CCC emblem there and assumed I should have one on mine too.
Thanks

I have never seen a factory 1210/1211/1810/1811/1812/1872 etc. with one. The book 'Cub Cadet: The First 45 Years' briefly discusses this. The holes are there in the screen because they probably didn't bother changing the part, but there's no emblem.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
