Default 1250 tune up

Well I just got my new 1250 home today and I went though the tractor to find out what's wrong with it and here's what I found that needs to be fixed/replaced.
1. It needs new rings
2. needs a headlight replaced.
3.needs IH tail lights.
4. needs new PTO switch
5.needs air filter, and oil changed
6.trans fluid changed

Other than these things she looks like a new tractor. here are some pictures I took today after I got her in the shop.

Why is it that you can tune-a piano, but you can't tun-a fish?

Wow, that 1250 looks great!! Did I see a helper spring there also?......Don't forget to shoot some grease in those zerks to put some new lube in those joints...

Yesterday I picked up some parts for the 1250 and finally fixed my compression problem. Now all I am waiting for is some gaskets so I can seal up the K301. I should have some pictures soon of what it all looks like at this moment.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
