Default CL score today 18M engine and more.

Got this engine to repower my 782 IH cub. The guy also had all 4 wheels, hood and almost new steering column all off a 1810.

They were double sided taped on.
Took off decals ad the euro lights off and power washed the engine.
:
The PO said it run fine without any issues, but would like to get it fired up before installing it.
Have to research the wiring instructions .BTW engine has 736 hr on it.

I just started one, put the gas hose in some gas, hit the starter with 12 volts, the engine starts right up.

It needs nothing else hooked to it, other than the ground wire, of course!!

Pull the gas line out of the gas to shut it off.

Most Kohler Mags have a white wire that is the kill wire, all you need to do to shut it off is ground it if you need to shut it off fast if not do as CAD said and pull the gas hose but it will run till it's out of gas.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
