Default Air Cleaner Conversion - 62 Original
Among the few hundred O pics I've checked out, I noticed a few had been converted to the later pan style air cleaner. I like the look of it and I'm curious as to what all is involved in doing so. What do you guys think? Good idea? Bad idea?

It is the most simple thing to do on a Kohler. Just 2 or 3 bolts and you are done!

yep just bolts right on. in fact i have one sitting on the bench right now if you would like pics of the way its mounted

Both my "O"s have 'em and I even double-stacked the one on the puller with two filters for a little more air. I have no issue and they're simple to remove, swap or install.

I think the air filters work better in your going to work your O but on restored the oil baths look so cool.
