Default new guy with a few questions

Hi guys I'm looking at a 982 with a mower disc cultivator and bottom plow for around $900 . Two questions are: #1 how are they at cutting grass because that will be my main objectives with it, and #2 is that a good price with all the implements. Thanks in advance

Welcome to OCC!!

That is a great machine, and a great price, unless it was dredged from the bottom of the Mississippi River!!

Oh, yea, we want pics the moment it gets home!!

I have pulled a F250 4x4 with my 782. Since the 982 is bigger and I am guessing the boat is lighter than the pick-up, I am thinking.....no problem

Man, I sure hate when people do that! Sorry to hear about it. 682's are nice tractors as well, they just aren't a super and have manual lifts......

I hear Ya Spencer! There are some Azz hats out there for sure.

Sounds like someone I tried to do business with a year ago in IL. A 1650, had it bought over the phone, told him I'd be there the next afternoon w/cash. 200 miles away, 400 mile round trip, day/gas wasted he's sold it the night before right after talking to me!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
