Default Another good use for the 3pt

A spin off from the idea I got from a fellow member that attached his leafblower to the front of his Cub...

3pt allows me to lift and keep the wheels for easy moving to its resting place in the shed.

Made the 3pt hook up out of 5/8 rod I had left over from the Johnny Bucket install. Only snafu I really had is that I cut the upper link connection nan bit shorter than I would have liked but it still works.. I used an eye bolt for that.

175 for the blower and maybe 10 bucks in parts...Not bad for a Friday night project...

Im gonna use it mostly for the driveway and grass clippings....Takes me about 30 minutes with a normal gas hand blower...Hoping this speed things up plus a bit more seat time!
Wife just shakes her head at me... : - )

Looks like a 3 cigar project.

Nice job, I've seen 3 point PTO run blowers, if the blower engine takes a dump.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
